Rydon Homes an East Grinstead-based company commissioned Cathy Watson Associates to write about its development at Sunnybrooke, Uckfield. Stories have included one about new homes being built for reptiles and bees and about a board walk built across ecologically valuable wetland which is being given to Uckfield Town Council as part of a planning agreement. Rydon Homes is sponsoring two events at the 2008 Uckfield Festival.

Newick Parish Council is working against a tight deadline to save the village pharmacy which is threatened with closure because doctors have been given permission to dispense drugs from a nearby surgery.
An emergency meeting of the council saw the launch of a campaign to ensure the survival of the pharmacy which is within a cluster of shops vital to the village.
Cathy Watson Associates helped prepare and distribute a press release to publicise the battle.
Uckfield Catholic Church
It is 50 years since members of the Church of Our Lady Immaculate and St Philip Neri helped build the church in New Town, Uckfield.
